Returns were slightly back despite a smaller yarding at Ouyen, Vic, Livestock Exchange on Thursday last week.
Heavy crossbred lambs were about $10 to $15 down, making $150 to $206 ($5.70 a kilogram to $6.20/kg), while trade lambs were $15 to $20 cheaper at $98 to$145 ($4.80-$7.50/kg).
M Pohlner, Kiamal, Vic, topped the market with 94 crossbred lambs making $206, while M.U.T, Tempy, Vic, made $200 for 88 crossbreds.
P&B O'Brien, Speed, Vic, sold 127 at $196, and a further 53 at $190, while HJ&PD Ferguson, Walpeup, Vic, had 60 lambs make $194 and R J Hannig, Walpeup, sold 64 at $190.
Harrison & Sons, Broken Hill, had a run of 56 Dorper lambs make $172 and L D,RL&LJ Harmer, Meringur, Vic, had 33 make $154.
WMD&SM Small, Geranium, made $140 for 48 Dorper lambs.
The Merino lamb offering sold from $5.40-$5.80/kg.
Wegner Bros, Karoonda, had 102 Merino lambs make $196, with a further 95 making $182, while KJ&KJ Hand, Ki Ki, sold 148 at $129.
In the mutton offering, prices were $10 cheaper, making $65-$96 ($2-$2.50/kg) on the heavier lots while lighter older sheep were also $10 down, selling to $60.
A&N Hulland, Patche, Vic, had 102 sheep make $96, while M Pohlner sold 50 at $96 and J Tonkin Family Trust, Caliph, Vic, made $95 for 39.
There will be no sale next fortnight and the next scheduled sale will be on Thursday, April 11.
