The dinner was held at Adelaide Oval and organised by the Adelaide University Agricultural Students Union, led by AUASA president Emily Chambers.
During the night tertiary students, high school students, young farmers and industry representatives had the chance to get to know each other and speak about the career paths into the agricultural industry.
Primary Producers SA chair Simon Maddocks spoke about his experience in the agriculture industry and the opportunities for students to pursue a career in the field.
Following the meals being served, Grains Research and Development Corporation Rebekah Starrick spoke about her career progression and what she has learnt through her experiences.
A panel discussion led by Master of Ceremonies Belinda Cay, had Alexa Hearn, Thomas Foods International, Millie Moore, S&W Seed Company, and Anthony De Ieso, Thorndon Park Produce, speak about their career journeys and provide advice to the future leaders of the ag industry.
