Farm finance to cropping trials results, world market trends and a peek into an interstate farm operation were on the agenda.
Hart vice chair and Snowtown farmer Glen Wilkinson said this year's event offered many opportunities to learn, but also to stop and think about our own approach to the farm business.
"This year's program really offered some thought-provoking information," he said.
"From insights into global markets and the increased demand from the South East Asia market, and also the increase in global corn production and how that could affect Australian farmers.
"To the launch of the Hart Trials Results book and the latest results from the Hart field site in glufosinate, early and dry sowing trials, lentil agronomy and nitrogen decisions and N banking, giving us real-life, local data and analysis to consider."
Think Agri's Kate Burke offered some financial 'hacks' featured in her book Crops, People, Money and You, while Keynote farmer guest speaker, Beau Longmire, Corowa, NSW, threw open his farm gates to provide insight into his farming and contracting operations.
