EPSMBA president Wes Daniell said he was pleased to see a strong turn out for the annual event.
"The quality of the rams has been outstanding," he said.
"We've got sales from the end of July right up until September so we wish everyone luck with the months ahead."
Elders stud stock agent Tony Wetherall said there was great representation of both Eyre Peninsula studs and studs from the South East.
"It's a really good display of the type of sheep SA is renowned for," he said.
"Big, well-grown sheep, with good meat qualities and good wool qualities.
"It's always a high standard here and today is no exception."
There was a great line-up of sheep at Wudinna on the day according to Nutrien stud stock agent Andrew Wilson.
"It gives a great snapshot into the sale calendar ahead," he said.
In addition to the rams on display, two competitions were also held, with the Eyre Peninsula Ram of the Year and the Unhoused Champion Ram of the Year sashed midway through proceedings.
